Second wave of the New 52 coming!
DC Comics has announced the cancelation of:
Men of War, Mister Terrific, Blackhawks, Static Shock, Hawk and Dove and O.M.A.C.
They all all end with issue #8 in April.
The New Titles coming are:
Batman Incorporated by writer Grant Morrison and artist Chris Burnham, concluding the writer’s Batman story;
Earth 2 by writer James Robinson and artist Nicola Scott, detailing the life of the JSA as they collide “with other worlds;”
Worlds’ Finest by writer Paul Levitz and artists George Pérez and Kevin Maguire, which details the life of Earth 2 heroes Helena Wayne and Karen Starr as they are stuck on “our Earth,” seemingly meaning the main New 52 Earth;
Dial H by science fiction/fantasy novelist China Miéville and artist Mateus Santoluoco, which is a “bold new take on a cult classic about the psychological effects on an everyman who accidentally gains powers to become a hero;”
G.I. Combat which will have co-features: “The War that Time Forgot” by writer J.T. Krul and artist Ariel Olivetti, “The Unknown Soldier” by Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray with artist Dan Panosian, and “The Haunted Tank” by writer John Arcudi and artist Scott Kolins;
The Ravagers by writer Howard Mackie and artist Ian Churchill, which spins out of Teen Titans and Superboy.
Survive! Game Night – TONIGHT!!
TONIGHT (Thursday, January 12th 7pm) Steve Buonocore of Stronghold Games will be on hand to demo Survive:
An underwater volcano has erupted and the island of Atlantis is sinking into the sea! Unless the people of Atlantis escape in time, all the inhabitants are doomed! Get to safety via boat if you can find one, but watch for the Sea Serpents, Sharks, and Whales!
This is a true classic, originally released in 1982, and now brought back by Stronghold Games with completely upgraded components.

The Fallout Shelter: Comics, Games & Collectibles is expanding.
Q: Expanding how?
A: We are relocating to a bigger store in a better location. (320 Raritan Ave. Highland Park – 1.7 miles from the old store)
Q: What’s going to be better?
A: We are going to have a larger selection of products, and a dedicated gaming area. Also, we are back in an area where we can run events.

Q: Parking???
A: YES!!! There is a public parking lot that’s adjacent to the back of the store with another one a block away. Parking will NOT be a problem at the new store!

Q: What kind of events?
A: We Plan on keeping board games night, and bringing Friday Night Magic on board, we are also looking at: Pokeman, D&D, Game launches, and anything else we think You’d like. If you have any ideas, please let us know at info@falloutsheltercomics.com
On the Comic Book side of things, We are reinstating 24 Hour Comic Book Day, and expanding Free Comic Book Day to include the entire weekend.

Q: New Product?
A: Yes! We are going to carry a wider line of games (both board and card). Comic and Gaming Supplies ( Bags, Boards, Boxes, Dice, Dice Boxes etc). We plan on expanding the kids line of comics, and adding more “Alternative” Trade Paper Backs and Graphic Novels.

Q: When is the move taking place?
A: We are going to move during the month of December, and officially open the new store Jan 2012. So when you come back after the holidays, We will be in the new store in Highland Park. During the month the older store will start to look emptier as we move our stuff to the new location.

Q: Will this effect the shipping/sales of Comic Books in any way?
A: No. The transaction will be seamless. If you have a pull list, you books will be waiting for you in Highland Park com January. If you have any questions or concerns send an email to Ron – Ron@falloutsheltercomics.com
